Paseaba yo por la cuarta planta del edificio Sabatini del Museo Reina Sofía y al entrar a la sala 409, con el rabillo del ojo, vi tras una puerta a mi izquierda algo que me recordó a un termómetro digital flexible pero de pie, punta hacia el suelo, y del tamaño de una persona. Me apresuré a ratificar mi intuición encuadrando mentalmente la escultura dentro del movimiento pop, que consagra para el arte los utensilios cotidianos. El resultado, la decepción, puesto que Louise Bourgeios creó el objeto antes de la invención de nuestro práctico compañero electrónico de calenturas y febrículas varias. Además lo llamó «sin título».
Cosas del arte moderno. Aún así, no dejen de visitar el Reina Sofía.
